Getting Here

Please follow these directions for the smoothest trip possible!  [ Google Map ]

From Portland [~2 hrs ] and all points north on I5

• Head East on Hwy 84.
• Take Exit 87 for Hwy 197 to Durfur/Bend
• Turn RIGHT onto US-30/US-197.
• If you need any last provisions, the town of the Dalles is to the right on Hwy 30.
• Turn LEFT onto 197 at stop sign.
• Immediately after mile marker 35 you’ll cross over the White River
• Turn RIGHT onto Tygh Valley RD
• Follow 1 mile and see event traffic instructions.
• Take a right hand turn onto Cemetery Lane to enter the Box Office

From Bend [ ~ 2 hrs, 20min ]

• Take US – 197N toward the Dalles 89 miles through Maupin.
• Follow 197N another 8.2 miles toward Tygh valley
• Turn LEFT onto Tygh Valley Road, follow traffic instructions.
• Take a right hand turn onto Cemetery lane to enter the Box Office

From Eugene  [ ~ 4 hrs ] and all points south on 1-5

• Follow I-5 N out of Eugene and follow the above directions from Portland.

Before and After

If you’re coming from some far away land, you’ll want to fly in and out of Portland International Airport (PDX).

If you’re spending some extra time in Portland (highly recommended!), there are plenty of ways to get around.  Take advantage of the excellent Mass Transit system, rent a bike, call Radio Cab, or check out a local car-sharing service like Zipcar or Car2Go.

If you need a place to rest your head in Portland, we recommend the iconic Jupiter Hotel.

On your way to the festival, there are a number of stores in The Dalles should you need any last minute provisions.
