General

Can I bring Alcohol? What about Glass?
You may bring a modest amount of personal alcohol. Please be smart and responsible. NO GLASS! If at any time you are attempting to leave the site, be prepared for a sobriety check!
Can I bring my camping stove?
Camping stoves may only be used in the designated community cooking area in Spring Camp. Smoking will only be permitted on site in designated areas. Please do not bring your fire spinning tools.
No nitrous tanks or other illegal drugs allowed!!!

Can I come on Thursday July 26? What's the early entry fee?
We strongly encourage everyone to arrive on Friday after the gates open. If carpooling or desires bring you to the festival on Thursday evening, then there will be a $30 early entry fee per person at the gate. 
What are the box office and gate hours?
Thursday 5pm- midnight . Friday 10am- midnight . Saturday noon – 8pm . Sunday noon – 4pm
Are there any age restrictions? Can I bring my kids?
The entire event, including all General Admission, is 18+.  Only the OMG VIP Experience is 21+.  Please make other arrangements for your children, sorry.
Is re-entry allowed in and out of the festival site?
Re-entry is highly discouraged and there will be a sobriety check if you try to leave the grounds at night with your vehicle.  Additionally, there will be a $40 security access fee to re-enter with your car.
What about Fire?
This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! NO FIRES! This is a dry desert valley and the risk of fire is present. PLEASE be smart, respectful, and responsible.  Smoking will only be permitted on site in designated areas. Please do not bring your fire spinning tools. No campfires.
Are there showers?
Yes! Amazing showers and other wellness services provided by The OASIS.  There will be a $5 fee for showers but it is worth so much more!
Will there be vegan, gluten-free, meat, etc. options?
Yes! Our food vendors span the entire gamut and will be offering a wide variety of delicious, healthy meal options.
Will water be provided? What about ice?
Yes! Water be available for free and ice will be for sale.
Are dogs allowed?
NO! If you have an animal for disability purposes, you must advance with us. Be prepared to show us the official paperwork citing need if you show up on site with dog. We will be VERY strict about this.
Can a friend use my print-at-home ticket even though it says my name?
Yes, all print-at-home tickets have single use barcodes and are transferable.

Tickets

WTF is up with hidden ticket fees?
NO FEES if you choose the Print @ Home option. There is a small fee to want to have your tickets mailed to you or kept at will call.
Can I change the name on my will call ticket(s)?
If you would like to change the name on your will call ticket(s), please fill out this form.
What is the price for children?
What The Festival is an 18+ event and no children will be admitted.
I selected a Print at Home Ticket, but I dont have a printer, how do I get my ticket?
As you selected your ticket option, it is your responsibility to follow through with your chosen method. If you need to print your ticket, please make arrangements wtih a friend, work, or library. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE BOX OFFICE WITHOUT YOUR PRINT AT HOME TICKET.
I bought a ticket and now can not attend the event, can I get a refund or change the name of my pass?
All sales are final (Please see terms and conditions above). If you need to sell your pass, please do so independently. All print @ home tix are barcoded and can easily be transferable, no name is attached to those tickets (same as a hard copy ticket). Will call name changes can be sent to tickets [at] whatthefestival [dot] com
Are one day passes going to be sold?
NO, we will only be selling full weekend festival passes. 
What if I buy an OMG Weekend pass without parking but want to upgrade later?
No problem! Just email us at tickets [at] whatthefestival [dot] com and we will sort you out!. 

Camping + Parking

Does my festival pass include camping?
Yes, your festival pass will include camping but parking fees are not included, please CLICK HERE for more information regarding parking. 
Does everybody in the traveling vehicle have to buy a parking pass?
No, only one parking pass is needed per vehicle. Everyone must have a weekend pass but only one camping/parking pass is needed for the group/vehicle. Please see the Tickets page for more information.
Let's say me and my friends are riding together and want to camp with the car in Spring Car/RV/Trailer Camp...
One person will need to buy the General Admission with included Spring Car Camping Package. The rest of the crew will only need General Admission weekend passes.  The same goes if you all are traveling in an RV/Trailer.
What if we are all doing the OMG Experience and want to camp in Premium Car/RV/Trailer Camp?
Same as above. Only one person needs to buy the OMG Weekend Pass with included Premium Car Camping Package, while the rest of the crew will only need to buy standalone OMG Weekend Passes without parking.The same goes for the OMG RV/Trailer scenario.
Hmm, but what if I want the OMG Experience and my friends are going General Admission but we all want to camp together in Spring Camp?
No problem! Just buy the OMG Weekend Pass without parking. The rest of your friends will need General Admission Weekend passes and collectively, one Spring Camping Pass is needed.
What if I have a General Admission pass but all my friends have OMG and are camping in OMG Premium area, can I camp with them?
Sorry, unfortunately no. Only OMG pass holders will be allowed in the OMG Premium Car/RV/Trailer Camping areas. FYI: General Admission camping is very close to the OMG Premium Camping while Spring Camping is a short distance away.
Where should I camp if I want a more quiet, private experience?
Spring Camping Area is a short distance away from the action and will offer you the quietest camping experience.
What are your handicap camping and parking accommodations?
We will have a designated handicap parking and camping area located close to the event center. If you are in need of this, please email us at tickets [at] whatthefestival [dot] com in advance.

    Can my extremely well behaved and chaperoned 17 year old (who turns 18 on August 3, the Friday after the festival) attend? In other words can an exception be made if two non-drinking, extremely responsible adults bring their sparkle pixie daughter who is a breath away from 18?

    I am driving all the way from humboldt with a car full of people to car camping and we want to get in on thursday i understand there is a 30$ charge is there also a time you stop letting cars through on thursday?? and just to clarify it is a 30$ total charge for an early entry on thursday not per person correct?

    I have a group I intend to camp with. Collectively we will have 2 or 3 spring camping passes. My car intends to arrive thursday night, but other cars will not arrive until friday. Can we secure our camp sites together when my car arrives by using their Spring camping pass and then turning over their GA tickets associated with their camping pass to will call under their name?

    A friend of mine has bought her ticket but had lost her ID within the last week. She has obtained a temporary ID issued by the DMV, and also has her SSCard and birth certificate on hand. Is this sufficient ID for entry? She is a bit worried since it’s a long drive out for us.
