Space Funk Odyssey

Space Funk Odyssey was formed in Venice Beach in the summer of 2009.  Under the premise of radical self expression, stylized lyrics, looks and sound, and all-live dance-rock performances, they have created an ever-growing sonic ripple effect since their Hollywood debut in December of 2009.  Composed of founding members Cameron Lee Young (Vocals and Guitar) and Jud Birza (Percussion), and additional members Jacqlyn Rainier  (Keys and Synthesizer) and Jawnee Burkes (Bass), this band, ages 22-26 continues to play bigger and better shows, most recently headlining such Hollywood venues as House of Blues, the Viper Room, King King, and Cinespace.  They have also made successful festival appearances at Burning Man and Los Angeles Decompression. Space Funk Odyssey has released one full length album Electrify Me, in August 2010.
